Web Services

Europass Web services provide a standard way (web API) for other systems, software and services to use Europass services in an automated way, for example to generate remotely Europass documents in PDF, OpenOffice, Microsoft® Word, starting from a Europass XML file.

Currently, two versions of the Europass Web services are supported:

• Version 1.0 (released June 2006): If you already use Version 1.0, please migrate as soon as possible to Version 2.0. As of September 2011, Version 1.0 of the Europass Web services is being transitioned into an End-of-life (EOL) phase. Technical support will continue to be provided until September 2012 and eventually Version 1.0 of the Europass Web services will be put offline in December 2013.
• Version 2.0 (released September 2011): If you start using Europass Web services, please use Version 2.0, which provides more options than Version 1.0, as well as better documentation and better support.
