I cannot access the online editor.

This may be linked to a recent update to the online editor, a browser compatibility problem (e.g. unsupported browser versions such as Internet Explorer 8) or a slow internet connection.

  • Try to refresh the page: Hit F5 or Ctrl+F5 (this works for most browsers).
  • If the problem persists, save your CV in XML format and delete your browser's cache and cookies.

To delete your browser's cache and cookies, please read the following instructions for each major browser.

If the problem persists, contact the Europass team.

Google Chrome

At the top right of the browser, click on the Customize and control menu icon Menu, then go to Settings and navigate to the Settings tab.

At the bottom of the page, click on link Show advanced settings.

In the Privacy Section click on Clear browsing data.

Tick boxes Cookies and other site and plugin data and Cached images and files, and click on Clear browsing data.

Then refresh the page using:

  • Ctrl + F5 for Windows
  • Apple + R or command + R for Mac
  • F5 for Linux

Internet Explorer

Select Tools (via the gear icon on the top-right corner of the screen), go to Safety and click on Delete Browsing History.

In window Delete Browsing History, tick boxes Temporary Internet files and website files and Cookies and website data, and click on Delete.

Then refresh the page using:

  • Ctrl + F5 for Windows
  • Apple + R or command + R for Mac
  • F5 for Linux

Edge

At the top right of the browser, click on button More and select Settings.

Under Clear browsing data, click on Choose what to clear.

Select Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Then refresh the page using:

  • Ctrl + F5 for Windows
  • Apple + R or command + R for Mac
  • F5 for Linux

Mozilla Firefox

At the top right of the browser, click on the menu button and choose Options.

Select the Privacy panel.

In the History section click on Clear your recent history link.

In the dialog window, tick boxes Cookies and Cache and click on Clear Now.

Then refresh the page using:

  • Ctrl + F5 for Windows
  • Apple + R or command + R for Mac
  • F5 for Linux

Opera

At the top left of the browser, click on menu Customize and control and select Settings.

In section Privacy & security, select Privacy and click on Manage exceptions.

Tick boxes Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, and click on Clear browsing data.

Then refresh the page using:

  • Ctrl + F5 for Windows
  • Apple + R or command + R for Mac
  • F5 for Linux

Safari

Select the general Safari settings (via the gear icon on the top-right corner of the screen) and choose Preferences.

In the Privacy tab click on Remove All Website Data.

In the alert box that appears click on Remove Now.

Then refresh the page using:

  • Ctrl + F5 for Windows
  • Apple + R or command + R for Mac
  • F5 for Linux
