  • The Europass online editor is very popular - Results of the 2016 user survey

    From December 2015 to March 2016, National Europass Centres carried out a survey on the Europass online editor, to have a better insight of users’ needs.

    The survey was conducted in English, French, Greek and Finnish and over 10, 000 people replied to it. The results are very positive. Many of the users pointed out the user-friendliness of the editor and the good structure of the CV. The majority of the respondents made a Europass-CV following a recommendation.

  • New graphic identity for the Europass website

    The Europass website undergoes a radical redesign with a new, modern graphic identity. Improved navigation provides quicker access to the most popular information.

  • Europass Mobility passes the 200,000 mark in Germany

    The 200,000th Europass Mobility document was issued in Germany in April.

    This number makes the document, introduced in 2005, a success,

    and confirms Germany as the leading country in Europass Mobility use. Learn more

  • Interested in a traineeship at Cedefop?

    Cedefop is an EU agency based in Thessaloniki, Greece. It supports development of European vocational education and training (VET) policies and contributes to their implementation.

    Cedefop offers 16 traineeships for the intake 2016 (October 2016 to June 2017).

  • Sign languages and their translation available in the online editor

    Users of the CV online editor can now select a European sign language as mother tongue or other language.

  • Self-assess your digital competence online

    It is now possible to carry out a self-assessment of digital competences (information processing, communication, content creation , security, problem solving) through the Europass CV online editor, using levels and descriptors.

  • 2005 - 2015: Happy Birthday Europass !

    On 1st February 2005, Commissioner Ján Figeľ officially launched Europass and inaugurated the official website, then available in English and French only.

    More than 100 million visits were recorded since, and 50 million CVs were created online in 27 languages. This success is largely due to the active support of National Europass Centres.
